Revalations - 7 Bowls of God's Wrath

Revelation 16:2-4,8-12,17-18 NIV
[2] The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly and painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his image.

[3] The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead man, and every living thing in the sea died.

[4] The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.

[8] The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. [9] They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.

[10] The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. Men gnawed their tongues in agony [11] and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

[12] The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East.

[17] The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, "It is done!" [18] Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake.

Egypt Plagues - Firstborn

Exodus 11:5-7 NIV
[5] Every firstborn son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the slave girl, who is at her hand mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle as well. [6] There will be loud wailing throughout Egypt---worse than there has ever been or ever will be again. [7] But among the Israelites not a dog will bark at any man or animal.' Then you will know that the Lord makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.

Egypt Plagues - Darkness

Exodus 10:21-23 NIV
[21] Then the Lord said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness will spread over Egypt---darkness that can be felt." [22] So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness covered all Egypt for three days. [23] No one could see anyone else or leave his place for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.

Egypt Plagues - Locusts

Exodus 10:4-5 NIV
[4] If you refuse to let them go, I will bring locusts into your country tomorrow. [5] They will cover the face of the ground so that it cannot be seen. They will devour what little you have left after the hail, including every tree that is growing in your fields.

Egypt Plagues - Hail

Exodus 9:22-24 NIV
[22] Then the Lord said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that hail will fall all over Egypt---on men and animals and on everything growing in the fields of Egypt." [23] When Moses stretched out his staff toward the sky, the Lord sent thunder and hail, and lightning flashed down to the ground. So the Lord rained hail on the land of Egypt; [24] hail fell and lightning flashed back and forth. It was the worst storm in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation.

Egypt Plagues - Boils

Exodus 9:8-9 NIV
[8] Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "Take handfuls of soot from a furnace and have Moses toss it into the air in the presence of Pharaoh. [9] It will become fine dust over the whole land of Egypt, and festering boils will break out on men and animals throughout the land."

Egypt Plagues - Livestock

Exodus 9:2-4 NIV
[2] If you refuse to let them go and continue to hold them back, [3] the hand of the Lord will bring a terrible plague on your livestock in the field---on your horses and donkeys and camels and on your cattle and sheep and goats. [4] But the Lord will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and that of Egypt, so that no animal belonging to the Israelites will die.' "

Egypt Plagues - Flies

Exodus 8:21 NIV
[21] If you do not let my people go, I will send swarms of flies on you and your officials, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies, and even the ground where they are.

Egypt Plagues - Gnats

Exodus 8:16 NIV
[16] Then the Lord said to Moses, "Tell Aaron, `Stretch out your staff and strike the dust of the ground,' and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats."

Egypt Plagues - River Nile turned to Blood

Exodus 7:17-18 NIV
[17] This is what the Lord says: By this you will know that I am the Lord: With the staff that is in my hand I will strike the water of the Nile, and it will be changed into blood. [18] The fish in the Nile will die, and the river will stink; the Egyptians will not be able to drink its water.' "

Egypt plagues - Frogs

Exodus 8:2-4 NIV
[2] If you refuse to let them go, I will plague your whole country with frogs. [3] The Nile will teem with frogs. They will come up into your palace and your bedroom and onto your bed, into the houses of your officials and on your people, and into your ovens and kneading troughs. [4] The frogs will go up on you and your people and all your officials.' "

God will make a way - Don Moen
🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me

He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way

Oh, God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me

He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way

By a roadway in the wilderness, He'll lead me
And rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and Earth will fade but His Word will still remain
And He will do something new today

Oh, God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me

He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way

By a roadway in the wilderness, He'll lead me
And rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and Earth will fade but His Word will still remain
And He will do something new today

Oh, God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me

He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way

With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way

God is our refuge & strength

Psalm 46:1-3 (NIV)

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. "Selah"

Exodus - The Plagues

BSF - Exodus / Life of Moses

Started to listen to the audio bible on the way to work. Started with Exodus ... In preparation for BSF on the Life of Moses

Noah enjoys listening to the bible. Thank God that Audrey had been accepted into BSF and he has another year in the children's programme.

Put on our new self

Ephesians 4:22-24 (NIV)

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
