More progress ... Day 7

Brother was in surgery when we arrived to the hospital. .. at about 11.20 he finished the procedure. The doctor that put in the defilberator / pacemaker gave us a positive update on the operation. He was given local anesthesia so we managed to see him and walk with him as they transferred him back to the ICU. Noah was excited as this was the first time he saw brother ....
Brother looked good and the wires in the chest was removed. Such great progress from a few days ago!!

Day 6

We visited Lao Ta and he seemed to be alert. Had a shave too!!

After seeing him; we headed to Raleigh for lunch @ Trophy Brewery. We had wonderful pizza and also some interesting beers.

After lunch we headed to the science museum and had fun with the exhibits especially grabbing the bugs and worms.

Later in the evening we had dinner at the famous "The Pick" .... that serves "everything but the squeal". We were stuffed with the wonderful BBQ food! !

We had dinner with the family at "The Pig"

Getting better (day 5)

Today (Sat) we arrived at the hospital and saw Michelle and Lily as they headed home.

Saw brother and he looked good .... back to his normal self

Shocking thing was that Michelle gave him a vente sized coffee from Starbucks!!!

We headed to Mebane Tanger Outlets and enjoyed the afternoon shopping.

Later we dropped by the hospital again before heading back to the apartment for home cooked food.

God's mighty hand (day 1)

We arrived today to Raleigh after driving 10hrs (650miles) at about 6.30pm

God gave us journey mercy and gave me the strength to do the drive from Orlando up to NC.

Most importantly we arrived to see brother ....

We met Michelle ... and she gave a hug which I could feel the relief and fear at the same time

Brother had finished his surgery from yesterday which was successful. When I saw him in the ICU. ... He was awake and was able to speak (so wonderful). As I saw his tears I know that he had gone through a lot.

I thank God for the many points of intervention and his mighty hand to uplift brother  .... God is able and He is mighty!!
