Deciding to log the blessings / trials that I over came as I journey with Jesus
Blessings in US and Brother's heart attack
- flights are amended with no charges by Delta airlines .... (initial we had been told that there is a top up of $1.6k per ticket and a handling fee of $300 to be charged)
- managed to get deferred from Reservist call up at the last minute
- arrive into Double Tree Hotel in Orlando @ abt 10pm. Managed to call Michelle and talk to her and that the operation went well
- managed to drive 650 miles safely to UNC Hospital ... smoothly and arrived at about 530 pm (~10hrs drive)
- how from "no" neurological activity and potentially stopping life support .... to see brother' recovery from the operation ... van only be God's saving hand and mercy
- thank God for the people who knew CPR and administer first aid. The EMS team who was near by at Walmart that responded so quickly
- the humility of the doctor to ask UNC to take brother as a case. The wisdom that was granted by God to the doctors to care and operate on him!!
Blessings in Florida
- able to enjoy our trip as planned .... knowing that brother is out of surgery and just need time to heal and recover
- empty tank ... 1015pm we swung into Shell gas station .... it was a 24hr pump stop but the cashier closes at 1030pm ... We were granted journey mercy as my credit card did not work at the pump (foreign credit card).
- beautiful hotel and apartment for our stay
- weather forecast was for rain and showers .... We only had 1 day of rain (@ SeaWorld) ... The rest if the 2 weeks was nice and sunny and hot!! On the last day as we left Orlando ... The thunderstorm rolled into Florida.
- nice hotel at Hilton Express @ Savanna GA .... no booking done just a 1 night stop to break the drive
- returned safely back to North Carolina to see brother back at home and recovering well.
- for Noah to have some time to bond with his cousins and his aunt and uncle. He had a fun time even though we just hung around the house to play.
