Man's chief and highest end is to glorify God and fully to enjoy Him forever.

The passage has many imagery that we as man cannot fathom or understand .....
The essence for the study is that:
- god is holy; meaning
# only 1 God
# absolute perfection and purity
- man was made to worship God; by worshiping Him we fulfill our original purpose of God and we ultimately derive Joy!!
- god is fully in charge; "His will" not mine
- we worship by our actions:
# how we live ... Surrendered lives / living sacrifice
# our service (in church, ministry, at work etc)
Romans 12:1 NIV
[1] Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God---this is your spiritual act of worship.
