Final Charges Against the Religious Leaders

1.      Religious Leader’s Question (Matthew 22:15-40)

Principle 1: To love God & our neighbours requires knowing Him through His Word & relying on His power

Principle 2: To truly love God is to believe that Jesus is truly the divine Son of God

3.      Jesus’ Lament (Matthew 23:1-39)

Principle 3: Hypocrisy & self-glorification lead to Gos’s discipline & judgement
